William “Bill” Jones, 96, of Carmel, passed away October 30, 2020. He was born September 17, 1924 in Linton, IN.
Bill was a proud veteran of the US Army having achieved the rank of Sergeant during his service from 1943-1946. He worked for Borg Warner for several years.
Bill was preceded in death by his wife, Norvetta Jo (Weaver) Jones.
Survivors include his son, John Jones; grandchildren, Tracey Pompey, Kevin Pompey, Lindsey Sutton and Zach Jones.
Bill will be laid to rest in Marion National Cemetery, Marion, IN with Military Honors beginning at 1 pm, Friday, November 13, 2020.
