Wade Preston Guffey

Wade Preston Guffey, 64, of Indianapolis, IN passed away Wednesday, December 3, 2025. He was born in Indianapolis, on September 24, 1961, to the late Robert E. and Effie Marie (Hardwick) Guffey.

Known for his generous and big heart, Wade was ready to help anyone at any time. He enjoyed spending time repairing lawnmowers of kind. A favorite pass time was tinkering with watches, determining from the internal intricacies what made them work. Not only watches, but clocks, especially grandfather clocks.

Wade was devoted to Cindy Guffey through good times and rough times. They remained best friends until the end.

Survivors include his sisters; Tammy Collins and Lisa (Bruce) Fisher; brother, Dennis Guffey; nephews, Allen McFarland and Jeremy.

At Wade’s request, a funeral service will not take place.
