Tom D. Fuller, 72, of Carmel, passed away December 22, 2019. He was born in Gary, IN on January 11, 1947, son of the late Charles and Shirley (Lindland) Fuller.
Tom was a graduate of Transylvania University where he received his bachelor’s degree, followed by his MBA at the University of Kentucky and finally his DDS at Indiana University. Tom then opened his private dental practice in Wabash.
As a lifelong learner, Tom enjoyed taking metal sculpting classes at the Indianapolis Art Center. He also liked to travel and create pieces in his woodworking shop. Tom was skilled in the remodeling projects he took on and was gifted in decorating his home.
Tom was by nature a positive person with a good outlook on life. He simply loved life with his greatest joy being “Papa” to his grandsons, enjoying the adventures they experienced together. As a husband, father and grandfather, Tom felt very blessed as a family man.
Survivors include his devoted wife of 44 years, Elizabeth (George) Fuller; daughters, Katie (Fuller) Nave and Kelly Fuller; grandsons, Noah Nave and Jonah Nave; brother, Tim Fuller; sister, Lynn (Tim) Rose.
Family and friends will gather on Saturday, January 11, 2020 at 1 pm in St. Mark’s United Methodist Church, where Tom was a member and sang in the choir, with the Celebration of Life service beginning at 2 pm.
Immediately following the service, inurnment will take place in St. Mark’s Columbarium.
In memory of Tom, contributions may be given to the St. Mark’s United Methodist Church Kitchen Fund. Envelopes will be available at the church.
