Obituary

Sue Ann (Wilson) Page, 83, of Rockvale, TN, formerly of Carmel, passed away May 6, 2023, surrounded by her loved ones. She was born November 26, 1939, in Frankfort, IN, to the late Charles Howard Wilson and Sarah Mildred (Baker)Wilson.

Sue graduated from Carmel High School in 1957.  She worked for the Office of Senator Vance Hartke, the Indiana State Attorney General’s Office, and the State of Indiana Legislature before becoming the owner-operator of Variety Crafts in Burlington, NC. She was an intelligent and successful woman who was highly respected in her professional career.

On November 19, 1982, Sue married Gary W. Page and together they shared a loving and devoted marriage for over 40 years. She was a dedicated wife and mother and cherished her family above all else.

Close friends were a significant part of Sue’s life - her friends Laura, Chris, and Nancy added light and laughter to her days.  Her family shares a special note of appreciation to Zina, her dedicated care aid over the past many months.

Painting, quilting, cultivating African Violets and caring for her precious pups filled Sue’s days with joy! She was a gifted crafter whose quilts were works of art.  Her handmade items were loved and cherished by all who received them.

Sue will always be remembered for her kind heart and warm smile. She touched the lives of many people and will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

She is survived and celebrated by her husband, Gary Page; son, James W. (Nicole) Page; sister and best friend, Janet (Neal) Randall; much loved niece, Jodi Randall; nephew; Scott (Kim) Randall; great-nieces, Holly Randall, Stacy Randall, Alyssa Randall; and a great-nephew, Devin Goedeker, all of whom she adored.

Family and friends will gather May 12, 2023, at 10 am in Carmel Christian Church, 463 East Main St., Carmel IN 46032, where the funeral service will begin at 12 noon.
