Shirley Ann (Childers) Hiott

Shirley Ann Hiott, 85, of Indianapolis, formerly of Westfield, passed away July 20, 2021.  She was born in Cleves, OH, daughter of Everett (Upchurch) Childers.

Following graduation in1952 from Washington High School, Shirley married Harold Allison.  They owned and operated Broad Ripple Meats for several years.  Shirley was very intelligent using her God given intellect in managing the business.  She was very good with numbers.

In her later years, Shirley worked at Walmart in a variety of positions including the shoe department, salesclerk, and the accounting department.

In addition to her parents, Shirley was preceded in death by her first husband, Harold Allison; son, Alexander Allison, and second husband, Harry Hiott.

Shirley is survived by her son, Barry Allison.

A private burial took place in Eagletown Cemetery, Westfield.
