Sharen Kay Ritchie

Sharen Kay Ritchie, 71, of Carmel, was called to her heavenly home September 2, 2024. She was born August 21, 1953 in Washington State. As a young girl she moved to California where she resided until she was an adult. Sharen was preceded in death by her mother.  

Sharen loved God from the time she was a child. This love of Christ led her to move to Ohio where she could help spread the Gospel of Christ to those around her. She served in ministry in Ohio for several years, before settling in Indiana. Throughout her life, Sharen worked in several service and sales industries.  At the age of 12, she actually managed a hotel!!  After moving to Indiana, Sharen worked as head cashier at the Carmel Marsh on the night shift.  This would make perfect sense as Sharen was a night owl!  She retired from Marsh and began cleaning homes and churches.  She took great pride in her work.

Sharen had a wonderful sense of humor and genuinely loved all the people in her life.  In the Spring of 2023, Sharen became a faithful member of Faith Apostolic Church and will be greatly missed by the entire congregation.

A Worship Service and Celebration of Sharen’s life will be held Wednesday, September 4, 2024 at 7 pm in Faith Apostolic Church, 1212 E 116th Street, Carmel, IN 46032.

One of the greatest joys in Sharen’s life was generously giving her offering to support the missionaries who would continue spreading the Gospel of Christ to many foreign lands. Each week she looked forward to attending church especially on Sundays.
