Scot David Riberdy, 61, of Danville, passed away May 18, 2020. He was born February 22, 1959 in Kankakee, IL, son of Paul and Katherine (Turner) Riberdy.
Scot received his associate degree as an automotive technician. Before retiring, he worked for CarQuest as manager in the auto parts and sales department. This was an ideal industry for Scot because he loved learning and knowing all about cars and auto racing.
Halloween was Scot’s favorite holiday so naturally, he liked paranormal or ghostly events and big foot. The greatest joy for Scot was spending time with family, especially his granddaughter, Lorelai and his 2 beloved cats.
In addition to his parents, Scot was preceded in death by his niece, Jenny.
Survivors include his three daughters, Angela Riberdy, Jessica (Paul) Marks, and Rebecca (Luke) Thompson; granddaughter, Lorelai Marks; brothers, Mark (Paula) Riberdy and Michael (Helen) Riberdy; nieces, Emily, Mandy (Mark) and Nikki (Michael).
A Committal Service at graveside will take place Saturday, May 23, 2020 at 1:30 pm in Maple Hill cemetery, 709 Harding Street, Plainfield, IN.
