Roger Forest Rew, 83, of Noblesville, IN passed away Friday, November 25, 2022. He was born September 4, 1939 in Glen Rock, NJ, son of John Henry and Ethel May (Wilhelm) Rew.
Following high school graduation, Roger attended Seton Hall University in South Orange, NJ where he received his BS Degree in Finance. He then proceeded to obtain his MS Degree at Fairleigh Dickinson University in Madison/Florham Park, NJ.
During his working years, Roger was employed at the Westinghouse Light Division in Bloomfield, NJ, as well as RCA in Lancaster, PA, and most recently, Woodmizer in Indianapolis, IN.
A Veteran of the US Navy, Roger served his country as a Submariner from 1957-1961.
Roger was a member of the Carmel Golden K Kiwanis Club as well as Central Indiana Woodworkers.
Roger enjoyed spending time golfing, fishing, woodworking, and making toys for children. He was a Cub and Scout Leader and Baseball Coach with (PAL).
In addition to his parents, Roger was preceded in death by his brothers, Harold Rew and Norman Rew; and sister, Janice Dubois.
Survivors include his wife of 57 years, Patricia (Conboy) Rew; children, Michael (Erin) Rew, Brian (Christine) Rew, David (Kerry Evensong) Rew, Liz (John) Moyer; 7 grandchildren, Nicholas Rew, Braden Rew, Sebastian Rew, Lyla Rew, Ruby Rew, Anna Moyer, and Jane Moyer; and brother, John Henry Rew, Jr.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at a later date.
