Robert A. Beasley, age 60, of Carmel, IN, passed away on January 14, 2019. He was born in Indianapolis on October 24,1958, son of Robert O. and Mary Lou Evans Beasley. Bob was a graduate of Arlington High School where he was an athlete and prom king. He was also a graduate of the Kelley School of Business at Indiana University, Bloomington.
Following graduation, Bob started his career in sales and was a dynamic salesman through his careers with Monarch Beverage, WTTV-Channel 4, Indianapolis Motor Speedway, and finishing with Real AC Power.
Stemming from his studies at Indiana University, Bob was an avid IU sports fan and biking enthusiast. He worked hard for his family and spent much time and energy to love and support them. From a love of the outdoors, Bob spent many weekends camping with his family and friends. He later found a passion for the sport of hunting in the last decade of his life.
Bob is survived by his parents, Robert O. and Mary Lou Beasley; the love of his life and wife of 32 years, Betsy Beasley; oldest son, Conner Beasley, daughter, Ellie Beasley, and youngest son, Spencer Beasley; sister, Denise (Doug) Helmbrecht and brother, David Beasley.
A Memorial Mass will be conducted on Friday, January 18, 2019 at 11:45 am in Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Church. A Celebration of Bob's Life will take place following the service from 3-6 pm in Woodland Country Club, 100 Woodland Lane, Carmel.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations, in memory of Bob, be directed to the National Pancreatic Cancer Foundation, Merciful HELP Center or the Trinity Free Clinic. Envelopes will be available at the service.
Bob’s family would like to thank their family and friends for the kindness, love, and support throughout the months since Bob’s diagnosis.
