Rick was truly a great brother. He was a larger than life figure for me when I was growing up and that's the way I will always remember him. He was fun to have around when he visited and always made any occasion a happier time. Words cannot express how much I will miss him.

Boss, mentor, teacher, friend for over 25 years. You will be truly missed. You taught us loyalty to sears and showed us the joy of raising a large family by sharing your stories with us. I remember every one...even your poker stories. My prayers for Karen and the family. I am ill and could not attend but with you in thought and prayers.

Sorry to hear of the passing of Rick. He was one of my closest childhood friends. Living in CA I was not able to attend the funeral today but instead attended Mass for Rick at my parish. Thinking of Rick reminds me of the great times we had together as kids such as watching horror movies in his basement, swimming in the little backyard pool, riding our bikes to serve 630 Mass at Annunciation and to attend soccer practice after school in the Fall at Blackburn Park, boating and swimming at the lake house and of course Shirley's great home made biscuits after sleepovers. It has been years since we saw each other at a Vianney reunion but I wish we could have been together one more time to reminisce our childhoods. My deepest condolence to the entire Strohmeyer family.

Dearest Kelly, to you and all your family and friends we wish the burden of grief to lighten each day. Although fathers can never be replaced their traits live on in the children and grandchildren. You will recognize these in a paticular movement, smile or grimace or hear them in a giggle, chuckle or boistrous call. They have been given so you will always have "Dad". Love, Uncle Art and Nancy

Dear Strohmeyer Family, I am very sorry to hear of the passing of Rick. I was one of those most fortunate to have been on the Little Rascals Rugby team at it's start. Amazing how much of an influence Rick and that team made in later life. What is most important for me was that Rick accepted me into the team, though I was not part of the community from which it was founded. My condolences to all in your family on the passing of Rick who started very early in making those around him feel welcomed. Pat Watson

Dear Strohmeyer family, Rick and I worked many years together and he was a friend and mentor to me. He would always share stories of family projects, what he did during his vacations, the latest poker game, and so many other great conversations. He will be missed and I am saddened for your loss. You are all in my thoughts and prayers during this difficult time. My sincerest condolences.

My deepest condolences to the Strohmeyer family on the loss of Rick. I had the privilege of working with and knowing Rick over the past 10 years. He was a good man always surrounded by his family with tons of pictures in his office of the family. He was a great leader for Sears/Innovel and many people looked up to him for guidance. The Dunham family has all of you in our thoughts and prayers at this difficult time.
