Phyllis J McCardle

Phyllis McCardle, 86, of Indianapolis, passed away June 15, 2020.  She was born July 1, 1933 in New Castle, daughter of William and Cecil Marie (Ring) Coffman and was the last surviving child of their eight children.

Phyllis was a graduate of New Castle High School. She was a Contract Administrator-DCAS Pro (Defense Contract Administration Services) in the Civil Defense Logistics Agency/Defense Contract Management, Indianapolis.

She enjoyed spending time oil painting and created beautiful pieces. She also enjoyed traveling especially to Italy.

In addition to her parents, Phyllis was preceded in death by seven sisters and one brother; son, Rick Blevins in February 2020.

Survivors include her children, Mike (Tracy) Blevins, Diane (Rob) Bussell and Bruce Blevins; 7 grandchildren and many great grandchildren.
