Patrick L. Andres, 72, of Carmel, passed away July 5, 2024. He was born October 18, 1951 in Sandusky, OH to Francis and Patricia (Dennis) Andres.
Following graduation from St Mary’s Central Catholic high school in 1969, Patrick attended Kent State University, Kent, OH.
Patrick gained years of experience in sales from employment with Richmond Brothers, L. Strauss, Jacobson’s, and UPS and Andy Mohr Buick GMC.
Patrick was a member of the Association of Jeanne Jugan-Little Sisters of the Poor, Indianapolis, where he lovingly volunteered for many years. Each year during the month of May, Patrick looked forward with great excitement to the Indy 500 race, which to him felt a bit like Christmas. He was an avid Indy 500 race car fan and loved sharing his enthusiasm with family and friends. Patrick learned his culinary skills from his mother and became a great cook, where he enjoyed preparing delicious meals to share with friends.
In addition to his parents, Patrick was preceded in death by his brother, Dennis Andres; father and mother in-law, James and Theresa Parks; and brothers-in-law, James Parks, Michael Parks, and Charlie Osborn.
