Mildred "Micki" (Martin) Clark

Mildred (Micki) Clark passed away peacefully at the age of 92, Saturday, March 5, 2022, in Carmel, Indiana. Micki was born in Whitley County, Indiana and was the daughter of Raymond B. Martin and Elsie L. Martin.

Micki was blessed with a large and loving family. In her early years, while attending nursing school in Indianapolis, she fell in love with a dental student John Krieger Clark. They married on October 7, 1950. John continued with his schooling while they started their family. After John graduated from Indiana University School of Dentistry, the family moved to Ft. Wayne, Indiana where they opened a dental practice and grew their family. Micki focused on raising the children in her early years and returned to work as their children grew, working alongside her husband as his business partner in later years. Micki loved to read and could often be found curled up in a comfortable chair with a good book.

Micki is survived by four children, John (Anita) Clark, Cindy (David) Black, Susan (Tim) Kearby, Lynn (Mike) Coghlan; eight grandchildren, Adam Black, Dan Black, Mike Black, Stephanie Burgett, Jenny Fager, Dan Kearby, Lauren Coghlan, and Nicole Coghlan together with 6 great grandchildren.
                                          
Micki will be remembered in a private ceremony in Avilla, Indiana, where Micki will be laid to rest in the Clark family plot, alongside her husband of 54 years, John Krieger Clark.
