Michaelle “Mickey” Amenta, 77, of Carmel, IN found eternal peace September 7, 2020 after struggling with Lewy Body Dementia. She was born Michaelle Patricia Moore, April 10, 1943 in Brooklyn, NY, daughter of Thomas and Olga (Konon) Moore.
Mickey was raised in New York City, NY. Marriage and relocation brought her to Solon, OH where she raised her children and created a lifetime of lasting memories and friendships. Mickey loved the sun and lived in Oviedo, FL for several years. While in FL, she enjoyed the weather, a career at MI Homes, and spending time with family and friends.
In recent years, Mickey lived in OH and IN to be near her children and grandchildren. She will be remembered as a charismatic woman with moxie and style! Her smile, laughter, and love will be greatly missed and fondly remembered by all who knew and loved her. Mickey was a treasured friend, loving mother, and adoring grandma.
In addition to her mother, Olga Konon-Moore, Mickey was preceded in death by her twin sister, Nicki Moore and nephew, James Moore.
Cherished memories are left for her surviving loved ones; son, Bob Amenta and wife, Sandy of Indianapolis, IN; daughter, Christine Amenta-Brumfield of Clevland, OH; grandchildren, Amanda Brumfield, Max and Mitch Amenta; and brother, James Moore.
The family wishes to extend their gratitude to Green House Cottages and Heartland Hospice for their care and support in Mickey’s final stages of Dementia. We are greatly comforted in knowing our mother is now in a place where she sees and remembers everything, and is surrounded by peace, love, light, and family.
