Michael "Mike" Edward McAloon

Michael Edward McAloon, 69, of Carmel passed away November 8, 2021. He was born September 17, 1952 in Columbus, OH, son of Charles and Margery McAloon.

Mike was a 1971 graduate of North Central High School. He received his bachelor’s degree in Business from Indiana State University. He served as president of Power Tech Industries for 36 years. Mike and Sandy met at Ann Arbor Ski Club in MI. They were married in St. Francis Assisi Catholic Church, Ann Arbor.

Faith, family, and friends were foundational in Mike’s life. He was an avid golfer and a lifelong Colt’s fan.

The greatest joy in life for Mike was spending quality time with his family, attending his grandchildren's activities, family trips and telling his classic stories.

Survivors include his wife, Sandra McAloon; daughters, Laura (Sean) Litke and Michelle (Matt) Pheffer; grandchildren, Amelia Litke, Nicolas Litke, Miles Litke, Charlotte Pheffer and Samuel Pheffer; brothers, Jim (Debbie) McAloon, Greg (Molly) McAloon and sister, Kathy (Bob) Thorn.

Family and friends will gather Tuesday, November 16, 2021 from 4-6:30 pm in Our Lady of Mt Carmel Catholic Church, 14598 Oakridge Road, Carmel.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be conducted Wednesday, November 17, 2021 at 11 am in Our Lady of Mt Carmel Church.

A Committal Service will follow in Our Lady of Peace Cemetery.
