Michael W. Wilson

Michael Warren Wilson, 68, of Carmel, passed away November 27, 2023. He was born April 26, 1955 in New Eagle, PA, the son of Warren and Louise (Yardas) Wilson.

Michael was a graduate of California University of Pennsylvania and Ball State University. He was a lifelong educator and spent over 30 years teaching in Indiana where he was employed by Kokomo High School, Indiana Tech, and IUPUI. Adding to his joy of teaching students of all ages, he worked at Muldoon’s of Carmel for more than twenty years, where he honed his skills for witty remarks and conversing with people of all walks of life.

As a young boy, Michael would sit on the front porch watching cars drive by and naming each one by model and year. As an adult this grew into his love of the Mercedes Benz. He also had a strong attachment to football and watched the games on tv where he learned to analyze the game. This enjoyment of football continued as Michael became a fan of the Indianapolis Colts and a season ticket holder for many years. Michael was an avid runner who enjoyed participating in 5k and 10k races for various charities in the Carmel/Indianapolis area. He usually placed first or second for his age group in these events.  

In addition to his parents, Michael was preceded in death by his sister, Molly Wilson and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Survivors include his sister, Terry Jean Wilson Eiduke and husband, Bart Eiduke; many beloved cousins and caring friends.
