Michael Matthew Harvey

Michael M. Harvey, a beloved son, brother, uncle, and friend, passed away very suddenly and recently from natural causes. He was born July 26, 1968 in Carmel, son of Allan and Sharon (Gustafson) Harvey. Following graduation, Mike attended Valparaiso University where he majored in business.  Then feeling a call on his life, he went to Moody Bible Institute where he met his future wife.  They first moved to Australia and then Shanghai, China where he spent the majority of his life.

Mike returned to Indiana early 2023 before his father’s death in March. Seven months later, Mike passed away to be with his earthly and Heavenly father, both of whom he loved dearly.

Mike leaves behind his mother, Sharon; brothers, Brian and Rick (Kim); two college-aged nieces, Lauren and Anna, who were very special to him. 

The family requests in memory of Mike, contributions be made to donor's favorite charity for the advancement of God's work on this earth.

There will be a private family service.
