Maryse Peers

Maryse Peers, 67, of Westfield, IN passed away October 6, 2021.  She was born February 25, 1954 in Jehonville, Belgium, daughter of the late Jean Gerard and Marie (Pirot) Gerard, who survives.

Maryse was a graduate of the University of Leuven, Belgium. She enjoyed being Mom to her sons, Sebastian and Patrick.  A lifelong interest of building, collecting and fabricating miniature dollhouses allowed Maryse to become the featured cover on Premiere Miniature Magazine. She was skilled in the very intricate details, creating each piece of furniture for every dollhouse.

In addition to her mother, Marie Gerard, Maryse is survived by sons, Sebastian (Mary) Peers and Patrick Peers; grandchildren, William Peers, Emily Peers and Oliver Peers; sister, Marina Gerard; brother, Yannick Gerard; nieces, Marie Van Den Bossche, Sarah Van Den Bossche, and Severine Gerard; nephew, Mikael Gerard.

A Celebration of Life will be held in Belgium at a later date.

Burial will take place in Jehonville, Belgium.
