Marcy Marie (Grimm) Prati

Marcy Marie (Grimm) Prati, 53, of Carmel, IN passed away Thursday, July 8, 2021. She was born February 1,1968 in Indianapolis, IN to Lee C. Grimm and Sharon Anne (Schlenk) Grimm.

Marcy was a 1986 graduate of Carmel High School and attended Purdue University.

While working in telecommunications at New England Life Insurance Company in Boston, MA, Marcy met her future husband, Angelo Prati. They married May 3, 1997.

Marcy was foremost a devoted mother and loving wife.

Marcy was a practical Mom who was involved in her children’s school sports and activities. She was talented with “fix it” projects around the house, such as laying the entire kitchen flooring without a seam. She was amazing and handy at a variety of home projects.  Marcy loved working with pottery, loved taking family pictures and collecting them into photo albums. As a time of relaxation, she watched The Survivor on television.  Certainly, Marcy fought long, hard, and was persistent in her own life journey.

Survivors include her husband, Angelo Prati; father, Lee C. Grimm; mother, Sharon Anne (Schlenk) Grimm; children, Indiana Prati, Tatum Prati, Sharon Prati, and Ezekiel Prati; siblings, Terry Grimm, Debby Knight and Mike Grimm.

Funeral services will be held privately.
