Loren Scott Davis, age 60, of Westfield, Indiana, passed away January 29, 2025, in his home. He was born on April 13, 1964, in Fowlerville, Michigan, to the late Loren Davis and Jeweldean Irene Stout.
At a young age, Scott embarked on a remarkable career in the music industry, beginning his touring days with David and the Giants. He continued touring with a diverse range of artists, including White Heart, Lenny Kravitz, Prince, Melissa Etheridge, John Fogerty, Bruce Springsteen, Amy Grant, and John Mellencamp.
He was deeply cherished by his fellow roadies, who considered him family. As Ken Deans shared, "When you're touring, you have another family. The bonds created by thousands of miles and hundreds of shows together last forever. All my best to his home family. Godspeed Scott to that middle front bunk as you travel on to the next tour."
After his time on the road, Scott transitioned to the second half of his career as the Pavilion Manager for the Indianapolis Colts. He dedicated 15 years to the organization, and the family expresses their gratitude to Jim Irsay, Pete Ward, and the entire Indianapolis Colts family for their support.
Scott’s greatest passion was music, particularly drumming, and he played many instruments. He also enjoyed golfing in his free time.
He is survived by his daughters, Riley Phoebus Mazock and their wife, Harper, and their children, Mark and Eva, and Carter Davis; the mother of his daughters, Renee Karnavas and her husband, Ted; the godmother of his daughters, Stephanie Gordon.
He was the youngest of seven children and is also survived by his sister, Lori Followell and her husband, Leon, along with their children, John Austin and Brook Shepard, and their son, Isaac Lee Shepard.
Cremation will take place, and Scott’s ashes will be returned to his daughters for a private farewell ceremony.
Arrangements entrusted to Bussell Family Funerals.
