Lois M. (Rinsch) Repass

 Lois Repass, 89, of Indianapolis, passed away peacefully June 8, 2021 in Westminster North Village, Indianapolis.  She was born October 27, 1931 in Freelandville, IN to Arnold and Mildred (Mills) Rinsch.

Lois earned her teaching degree from Indiana State University in 1953.  She taught at Hartford City High School before her marriage to John R. Repass in 1957.  She then taught English and Latin at Shortridge High School, Indianapolis.

Lois possessed an inner soft strength, dignity, a generous spirit, and friendly manner which made an impact on many people through the years.  She enjoyed reading, playing the piano, preparing delicious meals, and especially caring for her family and friends.  Lois also appreciated and cared deeply about nature and the environment.

Survivors include 2 brothers and 1 sister, Lawrence, Arnold, and Wilma; 5 nieces and nephews, Lisa, Randy, Larissa, Jonathan, and Adam; 6 grand-nieces and nephews; and 2 great-grand nephews .

A Committal Service will take place Thursday, June 24, 2021 at 1 pm in Bethel Cemetery, Freelandville, IN.
