It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of our mother, grandmother (Nannie), Sister, and Friend, Linda Lou Sallee, who passed away April 17, 2024, at the age of 78.
She was born on September 11, 1945, in Effingham, IL. Early in childhood the family moved to Beech Grove, IN and later to Brownsburg, IN where she would raise her family. She was a dedicated and loving mother to son’s Kyle and Ryan.
Linda lived a full life and was a woman of many talents. She worked for 30 years in the medical field helping train would be doctors as well as helping underprivileged women during pregnancy. She loved being outside, gardening, hosting family cookouts, working with her hands, and maintaining her pool.
Linda was a one-of-a-kind character who was quick to help her family if they were in need, and tell them exactly what she thought. She was an avid animal lover especially her little yorkie, Gizze and chihuahua, Ash.
Survivors include her children, Ryan Sallee (Heather), Kyle Sallee; 6 grandchildren, Whitney (Pete), Austin (Annika), Joe (Dakotah), Kenzie, Sam, and Ellie; and 3 great grandchildren (with the last 2 to be here soon) Waylon, Wryder, and Townsend; sisters, Marty Miller (Wayne) and Kathy Niccum (Rick)
A small private Celebration of Life Service will be held to honor Linda.
