Julia “Julie” Westerfield, 82, of Lebanon, passed away June 2, 2021. She was born October 30,1938 in Lebanon to Joe and Helen (Caldwell) Reinke.
Julie was a 1955 graduate of Lebanon High School. Thru the years she worked at Cooks Pharmacy, Randall's Pharmacy, McLaughlin's Construction and most recently The Minute Print It in Lebanon.
On August 26, 1956, Julie married the love of her life, Kenneth Westerfield and experienced a true epic love story until his death in 1993.
Julie loved her family deeply and unconditionally. She was a very gentle, loving, and beautiful person inside and out. Julie chose to find good in everyone and everything in life. She enjoyed different types of art which was evident in her talent of painting. Antiquing was always a fun excursion, as well as spending time in her flower garden. Music was an important part of life and playing the piano brought contentment. Julie loved her dogs, Penny and Gracie as they were part of the family and held a special place in her heart.
In addition to her parents, Julie was preceded in death by her husband of 37 years, Kenneth Earl Westerfield; grandson, Christopher Chance Davis; brother, John Reinke; and sister, Patricia Huffman.
Survivors include her children, Daniel (Sarah) Westerfield, Gregory (Tina) Westerfield, Marsha (Dorwin) Davis, Keith (Beth) Westerfield, and Joseph Westerfield; grandchildren, Tyler Westerfield, Jeremiah Westerfield, Cory Westerfield, Kenzlie Westerfield, Konlie Westerfield; great-grandchildren, Rece Mason Davis, soon to be born, Zelda Westerfield, Dylan, Tyler and Austin; brother, Charles Reinke; and sister, Jane Yates.
Family and friends will gather Monday, June 7, 2021, at 12 noon in First Community Church, 701 N Lebanon Street, Lebanon, IN 46052, where the Funeral Service will begin at 2:00 pm.
A Committal Service will follow in Lincoln Memory Gardens.
In memory of Julie, contributions may be made to the Alzheizmer’s Association. Envelopes will be available at the church.
