Joyce Ann (Thompson) Truster

Joyce Ann Truster, 58, of Carmel, IN passed away Sunday, August 9, 2020. She was born September 20, 1961 in Atlanta, GA , daughter of Thomas and Patricia Ann (Lewis) Thompson.

In 1979, Joyce graduated from Antioch High School, Antioch, IL.  She received her business degree from the University of Colorado-Denver in 1995.  Joyce was an employee of CNO Financial Group in Carmel for a number of years.

As an avid reader, Joyce enjoyed reading different types of books.  She also liked to knit, crochet and was the designated family member who planned the annual family reunions.  When possible, Joyce was faithful to attend Grace’s school and church activities.

Joyce was preceded in death by her father, Thomas Thompson.

Survivors include her daughter, Grace Ann Truster; mother, Patricia Ann (Lewis) Thompson; brother, Thomas Gregory Thompson; several aunts, uncles, and cousins.

A funeral service will take place Friday, August 14, 2020 at 2 pm in Orchard Park Presbyterian Church, of which she was a member.

A Committal Service at Brush Creek Cemetery, Divernon, IL will be held at 1 pm (CDT) Monday, August 17, 2020.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be directed to Orchard Park Presbyterian Church, 1605 E 106th Street, Indianapolis, IN  46280.  Envelopes will be available at the church.
