John R. Osler

John Richie Osler, 73, of Carmel, IN, passed away peacefully in his home on March 17, 2025. He was born April 1, 1951, in Coldwater, MI, son of the late Paul W. and Elnora L. (Brunson) Osler.

John was a 1974 graduate of Butler University where he received both a Bachelor of Science and a Bachelor of Art degree. He worked in Indianapolis radio at WIBC and WNAP, focusing on sports broadcasts with Jerry Baker and Bob Lamey. He also worked with Lamey on Indianapolis Colts radio broadcasts from 1984-2011.

In addition to his parents, John was preceded in death by his sister, Cathie Reamer.

He is survived by his nephew, Jim Reamer.

John's wishes were there not be a formal funeral service; however, there may be something informal at a later date.
