Jeanette (Seeger) Horvath, 88, of Indianapolis, was born in Chicago March 14,1933, the only child to Henry and Anna Seeger.
She was employed in various positions in Patient Accounts at a suburban Chicago hospital from 1977 until her retirement in 2013.
Jeanette enjoyed traveling with ElderHostel/Road Scholar tours in the Western US and Alaska, as well as annual trips for decades to Door County, Wisconsin. She was a longtime member and frequent visitor to the Chicago Botanic Garden.
In 2017, Jeanette moved to Hoosier Village in Zionsville where she enjoyed making new friends, the many activities and outdoor spaces, as well visiting the Eiteljorg Museum of Western Art.
In addition to her parents, Jeanette was preceded in death by her former husband and father of her children, Kenneth W. Horvath
Survivors include her children; Jeanne Horvath of Scottsdale, AZ, Ellen (the late Robert) Galanis of Carmel, IN, and Kenneth Horvath of Mesa, AZ. She was a devoted ‘grandmother' to numerous dogs and cats.
A Mass will be offered for Jeanette Horvath on January 31, 2022 at 10 am in Hoosier Village Chapel, 9875 Cherryleaf Drive, Indianapolis.
Inurnment will follow in Carmel Cemetery.
