James "Rick" Blevins Obituary

James Richard (Rick) Blevins, 65, of Indianapolis, passed away Monday, February 10, 2020. He was born March 12, 1954, in New Castle, son of Phyllis (Coffman) McCardle and the late James (Jimmy) Blevins.

Rick was a professional painter and took great pride in his work. During his life-long career, Rick traveled across the country; however, his real passion and expertise was painting water towers and high-rise facilities.

Rick enjoyed riding his Harley Davidson motorcycle and spending time with his family.

Survivors include his mother, Phyllis McCardle; daughter, Jen Blevins; brothers, Bruce Blevins and Mike (Tracy) Blevins; sister, Diane (Rob) Bussell; two granddaughters; several nieces and nephews.

Rick will be greatly missed by family and friends who loved him dearly.

At Rick’s request, there will be no funeral service.
