James V. White

James Vernon White, 82, of Westfield, passed away February 21, 2025. He was born in Simpson, IL on February 9, 1943, son of Cecil and Lottie (Abbott) White.

In addition to his parents, Jim was preceded in death by sisters, Helen Parks, Jewel Shea, and Evelyn Powell.

Survivors include his beloved wife, Alice (Hardtke) White; siblings, Audrey Tatum, Alice Stephens, Carol Benedict, Ralph White, and Catherine White; stepchildren, Alicia Ochoa and Jesse Ochoa; grandchildren, Melissa Miller,  Alex Ochoa, and Nicholas Newland; great-grandchildren, Emberlyn and Natalie; and several nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Jim’s Life will be held at a later date.
