James Matthew Adkins, 25, of Augusta, GA, passed away on May 12, 2024, in Westfield, IN.
James was the beloved son of Michael and Christina Adkins; cherished brother of Joel Adkins, Sam Adkins, Courtney Stefanik, and brother-in-law, Andrew Stefanik. He is also survived by his grandfather, Mike Adkins, grandmother, Janet Shaw, and grandfather, Mike Shaw.
James was preceded in death by his grandmother, Gwen Adkins.
Born on January 5, 1999, in Augusta, GA, James attended Dutch Fork High School in Irmo, SC and furthered his education at Midlands Technical College in Columbia, SC.
Last year, James bravely embarked on a new chapter in Indiana, where he joined Micro Center. His dedication to his work was evident as he immersed himself in the world of computers and technology. James was known for his passion for building and fixing computers, a hobby he enjoyed both at work and at home. He poured his heart and soul into creating a unique PC that reflected his intelligence and innovation.
James was a selfless individual who always prioritized others before himself. His sense of humor, though unique, brought joy to those around him. He was a reliable friend who was always there to listen and uplift those in need.
In his free time, James enjoyed reading, cooking, and repairing/building computers.James will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing him. His memory will live on in the hearts of those he touched with his kindness and generosity.
