Ja'Shaun Pierre Dickman, 27, Noblesville, left us too soon on Friday, February 13th, 2026. He was born on December 28, 1998, in Evansville, IN to Lisa Dickman and Perry McFarland. He was welcomed into the home of Michael and Mandy (Conley) Laning in December 2011 and was adopted on October 8, 2013.
He attended Noblesville High School where he played Football and Lacrosse. He graduated from the Excel Center in 2018.
He enjoyed working at Greek's Pizza, Ginger's Cafe and most recently Fire Dogs Junk Removal.
He was a Lance Corporal in the United States Marines from 2020 to 2023 where he served as a Marine Aircraft Firefighter in Quantico, Virginia.
Ja'Shaun was a spark of light to all who knew him. He brought a rare kind of joy to every room usually accompanied by his infectious laugh. We will forever carry his smile in our hearts. If you knew him, you know he was hard-working, determined, and took pride in his accomplishments. He took advantage of every opportunity given and lived life to the fullest. He loved those around him fiercely. He would give his shirt off his back to a stranger. He had an insane sense of humor and was quick with funny comments. He was happiest when spending time with his daughter Iyla, especially reading books.
Ja'Shaun leaves behind a great wealth of family and friends. He is survived by his daughter Iyla Elise Dickman, her mother Haleigh Beck, his parents, his siblings, Daniel Laning, Mikayla Dickman and Jadon Stanfield, his grandparents, aunts and uncles, many cousins and even more friends.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Saturday, February 21, 2026, in the White River Christian Church, 1685 N Tenth St, Noblesville, IN. Visitation will be from Noon - 2pm with the service beginning at 2pm.
Burial will follow in Crownland Cemetery.
In Lieu of flowers, the family has set up a memorial savings account for Iyla in care of Michael Laning.
