Isabel Ramos Ortiz Obituary

Isabel Ramos Ortiz fell asleep in death on Thursday, January 30, 2020 at 9:30 pm in Avon, IN. She was born November 5, 1946 in San Juan, Puerto Rico, daughter of Arturo Ramos Llompart and Rosa Emma Ortiz Arroyo. She received her BS Degree as a legal secretary and retired from Court of Justice in 2009.

Isabel was a courageous and dedicated member of Jehovah’s Witnesses for 47 years. Even in the most difficult trials and to the end, Isabel remained firm in her conviction to take a loyal stand for her beliefs. She cherished her close, personal relationship with her God, Jehovah. Isabel conveyed a heartfelt message to her family with saying “Keep on Praying”.

Isabel pioneered a self-sacrificing spirit, taking delight in acts of love by words and deeds.  She always saw the good in others and believed that kindness conquers all. She was also a devoted mother and grandmother and will be greatly missed by each one.

Regardless of any challenging circumstance, Isabel kept her great sense of humor. She could light up a room when she walked in wearing her leopard print and beautiful smile, which became her signature.

In addition to her parents, Isabel was preceded in death by her sister, Zulma Ramos and brother, Arturo Miguel Ramos Dalmau.

Survivors include her 6 Children; Maria Isabel Wagner of Indianapolis, IN, Karla (Ricardo) Olvera of Fort Wayne, IN, Fernando Villafañe Ramos of Carolina, PR, Michelle Villafañe Ramos of Carolina, PR, Rebeca (Victor) Osuna of Avon, IN and Mario Luis (Dimary) Martinez Ramos of Indianapolis, IN; 13 Grandchildren, Desaree Nicoel Lyles, Mercedes Marie Ramirez Villafañe, Isaimary Villafañe Aleman, Julian Alberto Collazo Villafañe, Nashaly Villafañe Aleman, Lian Michelle Collazo Villafañe, Josean Luis Martinez, Bianca Maite Osuna, Isabela Zoe Osuna, Jesus Daniel Villafañe Aleman, Emanuel Osuna, Giuliana Osuna, and Mikhaela Isabel Martinez; 3 great-grandchildren; 2 siblings, Lizaida Bonilla Dejesus and Jose Luis Bonilla Ortiz; many cousins and her closest, dearest friend and sister-in-law, "Titi Purula" and "Aunt Toni” Maria Antonia Beyer, all of whom brought great joy and happiness to her.

Mom, your warmth, sweet smile, kind ways and loving touch will never be forgotten! You believed in what the Bible teaches, that the earth will be restored to a Paradise, where those who come to know God will be restored to perfection and rewarded with everlasting life, even if it means bringing them back from the dead. We long to welcoming you back in the resurrection!  You are welcome to visit www.jw.org to learn more.
