Julius Charles Eup, 4 months of age, passed away peacefully Saturday, June 7, 2025. He was born on January 24, 2025. Even though Julius was born prematurely at just five pounds, following multiple miscarriages, he was a miracle-small in stature but mighty in spirit.
Julius had a rare and radiant gift for connection. He was always seeking out the voices and faces of those he loved, watching and listening with an uncanny awareness that felt far beyond his months. He would respond with soft coos, gurgles, and his signature smile almost as if he was letting you know that he understood and was right there with you. Julius was a sweet, captivating baby who left a lasting mark on every heart he touched. Whether nestled in someone’s arms, out for a walk or a car ride, or watching Pacers games with his dad, he soaked in the world with joy, wonder, and love.
His mother, grandmother, and great grandmother would often sing to him, filling his days with music and tenderness. His cousin, Jauxone, lovingly nicknamed him “JuJu.” Though his time here was brief, Julius brought immeasurable joy and left an enduring legacy of love in the hearts of all who knew him.
He is preceded in death by his grandmother, Rosemarie Trimmell.
Survivors include his mother, Andrea Worley; father, James Eup; brothers, Lincoln Joseph and Jedrek Rose; great-grandmother, Thelma Hinds; grandparents, Doris Worley, Robert Eup (Sharon), and William Trimmell; aunt, Jessica (Shaun) Jones; uncles, Anthony (Ashley) Worley, Andrew (Dorimar) Trimmell, and Alex Trimmell (Lauren); and cousins, Xuander, Jaucobi, Jauxone, Leland, Levi, Willow, Cassadee, Savannah, Sophia, and Lana.
