Hannah N. Schroder, 101, of Noblesville, IN passed away peacefully on Sunday, December 29, 2024. She was born October 20, 1923, in Georgeville, MN the youngest child of Mons and Elizabeth (Bieber) Flesland, immigrants from Norway and Austria. She grew up on the farm but was always looking for adventure. During WWII she and a friend drove to California where she found work in a munitions factory and met her future husband, Bill,
Hannah enjoyed taking classes and learning new skills. She sewed some clothes and pieced baby quilts; she learned to knit and tried her hand at Tolle painting. She was a member of St. James Lutheran Church, Marion, IN. Also, Hannah was an active member of the American Business Womens Association (ABWA).
She loved cheering on the Chicago Cubs in the summer and the Indiana Pacers in the winter.
In addition to her parents, Hannah was preceded in death by her husband, William Schroder; 6 brothers and 2 sisters.
Survivors include her children, Jacqueline "Jackie" Ewing, Michael "Mike" (Gwendolyn) Schroder, and Arthur Patrick "Pat" (Tami) Schroder; 9 grandchildren; David Ewing, Tracey Bettes, Erika (David) Vanderveen, James (Christine) Ewing, Cassandra (George) Stanton, Mons Schroder, Joseph Schroder, Betsy (Brooke) Schroder and Sara Schroder;10 great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Family and friends will gather on Wednesday, January 8, 2025, at 10 am in Bussell Family Funerals, 1621 E Greyhound Pass, Carmel. The service will begin at 10:30 am.
A committal service will take place on Friday, January 10, 2025, at 1:30 pm in the Finks Cemetery, 1463 W County Rd 700 N. Osgood, IN 47037.
In lieu of flowers, a contribution can be made to Donor's Favorite Charity in memory of Hannah.
