Franklin "Frank" Patrick Cordero, Jr.

Franklin “Frank” Patrick Cordero, Jr., 53, of Westfield, IN passed away Tuesday, April 28, 2020. He was born May 19, 1966 in Daly City, CA.

In his younger years, Frank was a member of 4H and proudly showed his sheep and hogs and won several blue ribbons.

Following his graduation from Western Boone Jr-Sr High School in 1984, Frank joined to US Army where he served from 1985-1989.

Frank was also a 1991 graduate of Lincoln Tech where he studied AAS Automotive Management.

Over the years Frank was manager of various auto repair shops, primarily a couple of Jiffy Lubes and Monroe Muffler and Brake.  Currently, Frank enjoyed working as a driver for Uber and Lyft.

Frank became a member of a pool league where he enhanced his skill at playing pool, and as a result won several trophies. More recently, Frank was involved in a dart league, also winning trophies.

Frank was preceded in death by his father, Franklin Patrick “Pat” Cordero, Sr; and sister, Mardi Ann Cordero.

Survivors include his mother, Sharon A. “Shan” Cordero; sisters, Lori Ann Cordero-Green, Camille Delores Cordero Hensel; brother, Samuel Forest Cordero; nieces, April Lynette Click, Annaliese Isabel Hensel; nephew, Timothy Wayne Newman II; and great-nephew, Jacob Whitus.

A private Committal Service will take place in the Marion National Cemetery, Marion, IN.

A combined Celebration of Life service for Frank and his father, Pat, will be held July 3, 2020 from 6-8 pm in Flanner Buchanan, Washington Park North.
