Elizabeth "Betty" Caroline (Andersen) Magliola

Elizabeth “Betty” Magliola, 92, of Plainfield, IN, passed away January 20, 2026. She was born February 23, 1933 in Chicago, daughter of Andrew and Ann (Kufta) Andersen.

Betty and Sam Magliola Jr. were married on October 23, 1954. They raised their young family in Blue Island, IL. Following Sam’s death in 2015, Betty made the decision to move to Plainfield, where she enjoyed living in Cumberland Trace until her death.

As a beloved wife and mother, Betty was also a very proud grandmother and cherished time spent with family.

In addition to her parents, and husband, Betty was preceded in death by brothers, Edward, and his wife, Dove Anderson; Andrew, and his wife Ann and second wife, Grace Andersen; and Robert, and his wife Cecilla Andersen.

Survivors include daughters, Pam (John) Krohn, Sandi (Tom) Stepanek, and Annette (Gary) Head; granddaughters, Vicki (Jeff) Larsen, Rachel, Sarah, and Becca; great-grandchildren, Faye and J.P. Larsen.
