Dorothy Marie Perry, 83, of Westfield, IN passed away Thursday, May 17, 2023. She was born April 15, 1940 in Bronx, NY to Rocco and Marie (Nevins) Richichi.
On October 1, 1960, Dorothy married the love of her life, Charles Perry, and together they raised two daughters. She was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and dear friend to many. Dorothy’s faith and family were most important to her. She had a caring heart and spirit, never met a stranger and was a friend to all. Dorothy leaves the legacy and will always be remembered for her love of family, and her deep and abiding faith. Her trust in God carried her through whatever challenges she faced throughout her life.
Dorothy will be lovingly remembered by her daughters, Mary Jo (Richard) LaPorte and Carolyn (Gary) Talbot; grandchildren, Gary (Kayla) Talbot, Jr., Eric Talbot (Fiona DiGennaro), Daniel LaPorte (Allison Yoder); and brother, James Richichi.
In addition to her parents, Dorothy was preceded in death by her husband of 43 years, Charles Perry.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to Tammy RN, hospice nurse with Paradigm Health, for her outstanding care of their mother.
Family and friends will gather for visitation on Saturday, May 20, 2023 at 1:15 pm in St. Maria Goretti Catholic Church, 17102 Spring Mill Road, Westfield, IN 46074, where the Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 2pm.
