Dominic Strain Obituary

Dominic James Strain, 18, of Westfield, passed away Tuesday, September 28, 2021. He was born October 29, 2002 in Noblesville to the late Jason strain, Sr. and Mary Strain, who survives.

Dominic attended Westfield High School where he particularly enjoyed his FAP class with Ms. Davis.  In his short 18 years of life, Dominic overcame a lot of obstacles including 4 brain surgeries.  He remained determined, yet stubborn with the best long-term memory.  Dominic never let Autism slow him down, maintaining a positive attitude. Other activities Dominic enjoyed was Unified Track and Best Buddies.

Dominic enjoyed music, especially playing his guitar as well as drawing.  In his earlier years, Dominic loved wrestling, he especially liked John Cena. He also liked to play on his Xbox with his brothers and friends.

God gifted Dominic with a wonderful personality. With his infectious smile and friendly manner, he would make those around him laugh simply enjoying time spent together.  Through the years, Dominic made many friends and left an impact on each one.

Dominic had 4 brothers. He was closest to his older brother, Jay (Jason Strain, Jr.), as they were only 3 years apart in age. He looked up to his older brother and always wanted to impress him. Jay also did an amazing job as a big brother, always looking out for Dominic.

In addition to his father, Dominic was preceded in death by his grandmother, Judy Tice; and grandfather, Simpson Elliott.

Dominic leaves behind to cherish his memory, his mother, Mary; brothers, Jay, Julian, Junior, and Corey;  grandfather, Ron Tice; grandmother, Loretta Elliott; as well as numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Dominic will be greatly missed by all who knew him; however, his spirit lives on in all of us!
