David Joseph Arpasi, Jr., 74, of Cicero, passed away Tuesday, June 8, 2021. He was born February 16, 1947, in South Bend, IN, son of David Joseph and Frances Helen (Karaszewski) Arpasi, Sr.
David was a 1965 graduate of St. Joseph High School, South Bend. He then received his bachelor’s degree in 1969 and master’s degree in 1980 at Indiana University. He was a member of Beta Gamma Sigma fraternity. David was a veteran of the US Air Force.
The In-Red Services Corporation was started, owned, and operated by David for more than 35 years. He was President as well as tax Accountant. He also established the David and Kristi Arpasi Family Scholarship at the Kelly School of Business.
As a family man, David was involved in many family events and activities. He was an avid football and basketball fan and enjoyed hiking and bicycling.
In addition to his parents, David was preceded in death by his sister, Bobbie Mattasits.
Survivors include his wife, Kristi Arpasi; sons, DJ (Gloria) Arpasi and Joe Arpasi; stepson, Robb (Erin) Greene; step-grandchildren, RG Greene, Flora Greene, Lucy Greene, Diego Zakers, and Bella Zakers; stepmother, Darlene Arpasi; father and mother in-law, John and Joyce Waterman; several cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Family and friends will gather Monday, June 14, 2021, at 11 am in the United Pentecostal Church, 1516 Morton Street, Noblesville, where the Funeral Service will begin at 1 pm.
A Committal Service with Military Honors will follow in Crownland Cemetery, Noblesville.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations in memory of David, be given to Purdue Autism Research Center (PARC), PO Box 772401, Detroit, MI 48277-2401. Envelopes will be available at the service.
