The most important things in life to Daniel were his family, especially Lois, his wife of 65 years. He enjoyed playing with his grandchildren, traveling, gambling and appreciated collector cars.
Daniel owned a racehorse that had one win at Hoosier Park in 1997. He was affectionately known as Mr. O and made some of his best friends at the poker table.
