Dana Stout, 58, of Cicero, passed away on March 5, 2026. She was born November 17, 1967, in Brazil, IN to Fred and Mary (McShanog) Baysinger Thomas.
As a 1985 graduate of Northview High School, Dana went on to work in multifamily housing where she managed HOA’s (Homeowners Association). She took special pride in improving not only her own community, but also the communities of those around her.
Dana was dedicated and had a heart for children by serving as a court appointed special advocate (CASA) and was also actively involved in her church serving as an elder.
Dana was an avid reader as she enjoyed reading any genre of books, spending time with her 3-year-old grandson, Holden, playing cards with friends, and of course, she loved fashion and jewelry. Most importantly, Dana will be remembered by the way she served others and her unique ability to make people laugh.
Dana leaves behind a beautiful family including her mother, Mary Thomas; husband, David, whom she married on November 10, 2006; daughters, Allison Knox and Chelsea Knox; grandson, Holden Knox; brothers, Doug Baysinger and Greg Baysinger; sister, Urma Baysinger Harvey; several nieces and nephews; and her “God family”, Dana Mason, Conner Coffy, Walker Coffy, Alayna Coffy, and Nayah Mills.
Family and friends will gather on Saturday, March 28, 2026, at 10 am in CrossRoads Church at Westfield, 19201 Grassy Branch Road, Westfield, where the Celebration of Life service will begin at 12 Noon.
Memorial contributions in memory of Dana, may be given to CrossRoads Church. Envelopes will be available at the service.
