Charles Frederick McElheny

Charles Frederick McElheny, 75, of Indianapolis, IN passed away Monday, February 28, 2022. He was born December 28, 1946 in Peru, IN, to the late Harry and Sophia (Bauer) McElheny.

As a 1964 graduate of Twin Lakes High School in Monticello, IN, Charles then attended Purdue University and received his Bachelor of Science degree in Technology. He remained a lifelong Purdue fan.

Charles excelled as a supervisor during his career. He worked as a Computer Technician as well as a printer. Charles was honored when awarded the Order of the Arrow. He was proud to be an Eagle Scout.

As a man of many interests, Charles enjoyed spending time bird watching, working in his flower garden, creating barn quilts, and repairing bicycles.  The greatest joy in life for Charles was his family. He dearly loved his wife and was a proud father.

Survivors include his devoted wife, daughter, son, brother, and numerous nieces and nephews.

A Private Memorial Service is to be determined.
