Carol Jane (Millikan) Edwards

Carol Jane Edwards, 95, of Westfield, passed away surrounded by her loving family, on April 3, 2026. She was born May 1, 1930, in Lamong, daughter of Guy and Denzle (Venable) Millikan.

Following graduation from Westfield Washington High School in 1948, Carol began working at L.S. Ayres, and later worked as a teller for Union State Bank. Carol then became employed with the town of Westfield for 10 years before opening her own in-home day care.

Carol enjoyed bird watching, and through the years loved her many dogs, Brutus, Bear, and Max to name a few.  Carol spent hours in the kitchen during the summer, canning tomatoes, corn, and green beans fresh from her vegetable garden.

Bob and Carol were founders of Radiant Christian Life Church.

In addition to her parents, Carol was preceded in death by her husband, Bob; sisters, June Cordell and Sandra Dennis; brother, Kent Millikan.

Survivors include her son, Curt Edwards and daughter, Beth (Edwards) Kelm; grandsons, Jeremy (Adrana) Edwards, and Mitchell (Eryn) Kelm; great-grandchildren, Neil Edwards, Harisen Kelm, and Savhanah Kelm; sisters, Juliann Baldwin and Sharon Thompson; and many nieces and nephews, whom she loved dearly.

Family and friends will gather at 11 am on Friday, April 10, 2026, in Radiant Christian Life Church, where the Funeral Service will begin at 12 noon.

Burial will follow in Summit Lawn cemetery.

In memory of Carol, contributions can be directed to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital or the Humane Society of Hamilton County. Envelopes will be available at the service.
