Betty lived most of her life in Hamilton County. She was a 1939 graduate of Noblesville High School.

Betty and John lived in the Carmel-Westfield area most of their lives.  Following retirement, they lived in Syracuse, IN near Quaker Haven Church Camp for 15 years. They returned to Carmel to live and attended Carmel Friends Church.

In addition to her parents, Betty was preceded in death by her loving husband of 66 years, John Morris; son, Timothy Jay Morris; great-grandson, Hayden Watt; sister, Rachel Beal; and brother-in-law, Clifford Snyder.
