Dr. Arnold “Arnie” Lee Alpert, of Noblesville, passed away peacefully on May 10, 2024, his 89th birthday. Dr Alpert was born May 10, 1935, in Indianapolis, the first child of Oscar and Adele (Schwartz) Alpert.
He was a graduate of Shortridge High School and the University of Cincinnati. He then received his degree from the San Francisco School of Podiatry. Arnie was a veteran of the US Army, during which time he was stationed at Fort Benjamin Harrison.
Following his honorable discharge from the army, Arnie opened a small office in Broad Ripple and travelled throughout the state of Indiana providing services to nursing homes. It was then he met and married Phylis Clevenger and they were happily married 47 years. Arnie and Phyllis enjoyed travelling and visited the southern and northeastern states of the US, as well as Europe, and Canada.
Arnie was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Phyllis on April 26, 2024.
