Anthony "Tony" Hamstra

Tony Hamstra recently left us on the same day that he was born. He was a successful businessman who was shaped by the strong values of being from a farming family, serving in the armed forces during a war, seeking degrees in pharmacy and business, helping people whenever he could, and learning from a great deal of trial and error.

Most importantly, Tony was married, a father, and a grandfather. He was an avid angler, and he loved and honored Nature. Survivors include his wife, his son, two brothers, and a sister, as well as his three well-loved grandchildren, extended families, and close friends. Luckily, he was supported in his demise by not only his family but also multiple close friends.

A private, immediate family-only interment and a later Celebration of Life will occur soon. Friends and family will be notified of the future Celebration of Life. In short, Tony was a good, strong, generous, and brave man who was revered in business and life.

In memory of Tony, contributions may be directed to the donor's favorite charity, church, park, or institution.
