Anna Mae (Nifong) Gay

Anna Mae (Nifong) Gay, 94, of Carmel, IN, passed away Tuesday, December 3, 2024. She was born March 13, 1930 in Marshall County, IN, to Truman and Margaret (Metheny) Nifong.

Anna was a 1948 graduate of Etna Green High School, Etna Green, IN.

As a member of Colonial Hills Baptist Church, Indianapolis, Anna attended faithfully and enjoyed spending time with her many friends.  While spending winter months in Fort Myers, FL, Anna attended Southwest Baptist Church.

Anna enjoyed shopping and traveling; however, her greatest joy was spending time with her family.

In addition to her parents, Anna was preceded in death by her husband, Harold “Pete” Gay; daughters, Sharon Wilson and Karen Gay.

Survivors include her son, Brent (Candy) Gay; grandchildren, Shae Wilson (Billy Quatman), Jeremy Gay, and Kim Gay; and great grandchildren, Will Quatman and Max Quatman.

Family and friends will gather at 10 am on Thursday, December 12, 2024 in Colonial Hills Baptist Church, 8140 Union Chapel Road, Indianapolis, IN 46240, where the Funeral Service will begin at 11am.

A Committal Service will take place at 2:30 pm in Etna Green Cemetery, Etna Green, IN 46524.
