Allan "Kay" Harvey

Allan Kay Harvey, longtime resident of Carmel and Westfield, passed away peacefully March 1, 2023, surrounded by his adoring family.  He was born December 31, 1937, youngest of four children, to Howard and Nina (Osborne) Harvey. Allan spent his youth farming before attending Indiana University and serving as an Air Force Reservist. He devoted his entire life to his family and his belief in God and country.

Allan eventually went into commercial and residential real estate.  He and Sharon retired to Venice, FL and eventually returned home to be closer to the family he so adored.  Allan was a true Hoosier, family man, and servant of God.   

Survivors include his devoted wife of 61 years, Sharon (Gustafson) Harvey; sons, Brian Harvey, 57, Mike Harvey, 54, and Rick Harvey, 52 and his wife, Kim; and two granddaughters, Lauren and Anna Harvey.

Family and friends will gather Monday, March 13, 2023 at 1 pm in Orchard Park Presbyterian Church, where the Memorial Service will begin at 2 pm.

A private family Committal Service will take place in Carmel cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Allan, may be given to Orchard Park Presbyterian Church/Local Mission or Food for the Poor.
