Funeral services for Tom King, 87, of Carmel, will be held at 12 noon Monday, March 11, 2019 in Anderson Funeral Home, Gallatin, TN with burial to follow in Upper Bethpage Cemetery.  Visitation for Tom will be from 10 am until service time in the funeral home.  Tom passed away Thursday, March 7, 2019 in Wellbrooke of Westfield, Westfield, IN.

Tom was born on August 29, 1931 to Cephus H. King and Damie M. Jones King in Huron, IN (Monroe County).  He was an Army veteran, having served in the Korean Conflict. Tom worked as a Rate Clerk for ABF Trucking Company for several years.  Following retirement, he moved his family to Roswell, NM where they lived for 10 years.  Most recently, Tom moved to Carmel, IN to be near family.

In addition to his parents, Tom was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Willene King in 2007; two brothers and two sisters.

Survivors include children, Michael (Christina) King, of Indianapolis, IN, Kevin (Reta) King of Indianapolis, IN, Julia (Tim) Hill of Westfield, IN, and Tommylene (Charles) Froella of Lebanon, IN; five grandchildren, Jamie, Kate, Elyse, Christian and Patrick; two great-grandchildren, Bailey and Riley.
