Patricia A. "Pat" Manley

Patricia A. Manley, 88, of Westfield, departed this life December 23, 2017.  She was born in Vincennes on January 3, 1929, daughter of Urban and Lillian Acker Bauer. Her family moved to Loogootee in 1933. Patricia made Indianapolis her home in 1949 and then moved to Westfield in 2007.

Patricia and Leo were married on October 14, 1954. Faith, Family and friends were the focus in life for Patricia.  She considered herself a Professional Volunteer.  Wherever Patricia lived, she served in that parish.  She was a member of several organizations including St Vincent de Paul Society, St Augustine Home for the Aged, Guardian Angel Guild, Guardian ad Litum, Immaculate Conception Discussion Group, Silver Angels and also served as Extra Ordinary Eucharist Minister.  

Patricia was preceded in death by her husband, Leo M. Manley and son, Michael J. Manley.

Survivors include her children, Leo (Julie) Manley, Katherine (Barry) Collins, Mary (Michael) Dial, Lili Pickett, Brenda Manley and Noreen Manley; 16 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews as well as several great-nieces and nephews.

A Mass of Christian Burial will take place Thursday, December 28, 2017 at 11 am in St Maria Goretti Catholic Church, 17104 Springmill Road, Westfield with visitation beginning at 10 am in the church.

A Committal Service will be held at 2:30 pm in Calvary Cemetery, 435 West Troy Avenue, Indianapolis 46225.

At the request of Patricia, memorial contributions may be given to Sisters of Providence of St Mary-of-the-Woods.  Envelopes will be available at the church.
