Norma Hernandez

Norma Hernandez, 64, of Indianapolis, passed away August 14, 2019.  She was born in Bronx, NY on May 21, 1955 to the late Angelo Hernandez and Saturnina Figueroa Rodriguez.

Norma was a happy person so naturally, she enjoyed watching comedy movies. Her delightful smile was infectious.  Many fun times were had dancing the Salsa and Merengue with her sister as well as listening to Spanish music and Rhythm and Blues. Norma was known to have a sweet tooth as she would cook and bake for her grandchildren.

The greatest joy in life for Norma was spending time with her much loved family.

In addition to her parents, Norma was preceded in death by her husband, Jose D. Rodriguez; sister, Maritza Rodriguez and brother, Angelo Hernandez.

Survivors include her daughters, Elaine (Steven) Sanchez and Isabel Rivera; grandsons, Tarik Castro Jr., Steven (Raven) Sanchez II, Raymond Debnam Jr., Jacob Sanchez, Joshua Sanchez and Jonathan Sanchez; great-granddaughter, Sophia Rose Sanchez; and certainly, her beloved dog, Spencer, who was a Yorkie Chihuahua mix.

A visitation will take place on Sunday, August 18, 2019 beginning at 4 pm in Bussell Family Funerals where the funeral service will begin at 6 pm.
